Meet Stacey Welch, LMBT
Gentle, supportive hands-on care for scar tissue dysfunction and post-operative recovery from breast, chest, and other complex procedures—guided by experience, specialized training, and compassion.
Experience & Specialized Training
I have been a licensed massage and bodywork therapist since 2004, helping clients restore comfort, mobility, and connection within their bodies. Over time, my work has evolved into a specialized focus on Scar Therapy and Myofascial Release, with a particular emphasis on post-operative breast, chest, and oncology care and other complex procedures.
I am a Certified Oncology Scar Specialist and a graduate of The Mastectomy Guide’s 200-hour Mentorship and Training Academy, where I received advanced training in breast, chest, and oncology care. My approach to post-op care is further informed by training in Sharon Wheeler’s ScarWork ™ and John Barnes’ Myofascial Release ™, both known for their gentle yet highly effective techniques that work with the body rather than against it.

You deserve care that feels safe
As my practice shifted to focus more deeply on Scar Therapy, I began working more closely with individuals navigating recovery from breast cancer and other complex surgeries. Many of my clients came to me years after their procedures, still experiencing pain, limited mobility, and other lingering effects they hadn’t been prepared for. Witnessing these ongoing challenges made it clear just how significant the gap in post-surgical care truly is.
That awareness deepened my commitment to this work. I believe healing doesn’t end when surgery does, and scar tissue- no matter how old- deserves thoughtful, skilled attention. My goal is to support my clients through both the physical and emotional aspects of recovery by creating a safe, compassionate space where their full experience is acknowledged, and where their body can gently release restrictions, restore movement, and move toward a greater sense of ease and wholeness.
